Oracle Business Intelligence (OBI) Developer

Senior Oracle Business Intelligence ( OBI ) developers required to perform Business Intelligence services to enhance existing Management Information through the enhancement of the its existing Oracle based Data Warehouse and the implementation of an Oracle Business Intelligence Foundation suite to provide enhanced and automated reporting and ad-hoc analysis tools.

Development of the Management Information and Business Intelligence solution architecture including:

- Design, development and configuration of OBIEE dashboards and reports.
- Development, maintenance and continuous support of OLAP cubes.
- Working directly with Business Analysts and Super Users to define report requirements.
- Analysing data latency, accuracy and relevance to ensure data integrity of reports.
- Supporting system and user acceptance testing activities (E2E, UAT) and QA.
- Ownership of technical solution documentation.

Requirements
Consultant must be capable of performing the Services and should meet the following requirements:

- A degree or Masters degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or a related discipline
-  A minimum 5 years' experience of OBIEE development life cycle
-  Experience in the development and implementation of MIS solutions using Oracle
- Business Intelligence Foundation suite
- Delivery experience of Business Intelligence solutions within the software industry, with an understanding of existing & emerging technologies and an understanding of the software development/deployment life cycle, particularly with regard to the bespoke implementation of Oracle Business Intelligence systems
- Experience of working in a vendor environment on client sites in the area of Business Intelligence systems
- Proficiency in the use of Oracle PL/SQL
- A track record in the development and implementation of BI Architecture and BI Tools
- Experience of Dimensional Modelling and OLAP principles
- Proficiency in the use of BI Publisher and BI Interactive Dashboard
- Experience of the installation and configuration of OBIEE
- Strong understanding of OBIEE architecture
- Strong Essbase development skills
- Proficiency in OBI Administration and Presentation Servers
- Solid understanding of Data Warehousing Modelling and ETL processes
- Solid understanding of change management and promotion practices in an enterprise environment
- Experience in the project development life cycle
