ORACLE APPLICATIONS TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST REQUIRED FOR KEY ROLE, DUBLIN
This company is a large Irish organisation with extensive operations nationwide in the services sector. They are currently upgrading their Oracle Applications suite and they require someone to join the technical support team as part of a wider large IT division of 40+
THE ROLE:
- You will be a key team member providing a high level of technical expertise across a number of the Oracle E-business suite of modules.
- You will also be involved in the implementation of Oracle on Demand as well as migrations to the new R12 instance.
- You will provide 2nd and 3rd level support across all Oracle E-business modules
- You will help in the maximisation of core functionality across the modules as well as the simplification of customizations.
- You will be involved in technical planning and analysis of projects and also work with end users to improve processes.
- You will be involved in resolving core product bugs and validate customizations, recoding where necessary.
YOUR EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years SQL & PL/SQL development experience
- Your experience will be with Oracle E-business Suite 11i-11.5.10.2 or 12i
- You will have good functional knowledge of Oracle Financials and Unix Scripting
- You will ideally have Oracle Discoverer admin & user experience
- You will have strong understanding and capability of how Oracle E-business applications interact with the database
