ORACLE DEVELOPER PLSQL & REPORTS WITH ORACLE FINANCIALS & EBUSINESS SUITE

Our client a global organisation in the telecoms space who are looking to recruit an oracle developer for its IT operation in Dublin. This role will involved getting up to speed very fast with their systems and deliverables across their business framework and then for you to take full ownership of it. The reason for the role being open is that there is a project being rolled out that will supersede existing systems so you will get to develop another skill set longer term in the ERP space.

Your key technical experience is in Oracle Forms, Reports and Oracle PLSQL as well as additional tools from the Oracle Suite. There will be some interesting challenges for you dealing with management generating high level management reports.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oracle PLSQL, Forms, Reports, Scripting
Development experience in an Oracle environment
Strong SQL, Scripting and PL/SQL experience (stored procedures, triggers)
Strong capacity and performance planning experience
Database design experience including knowledge of data normalization, referential integrity, indexing and database sizing
Experience with performance tuning high concurrency database applications
Proficiency and experience with data loads and data loading strategies
Some Knowledge of Unix/Linux Shell Scripting
Experience with database connectivity, managing DB connections and configuring JDBC
Product development life cycle experience
Knowledge of Internet technologies (eg HTTP, XML, XSLT)
Knowledge of Internet infrastructure & architecture (eg networks, protocols, web Servers)
Excellent written and oral communication skills
