ORACLE APPLICATION DATABASE ADMINISTRATOR

On behalf of our client, a leading global company within finance, we are looking for an Oracle Application DBA. For this 12 months contract position based in Zürich Switzerland our client is looking for an English speaking candidate.

Your main responsibilities will be:

- Sustain the configuration of the application databases
- Manage production deployments and support the testing activities
- Spot and resolve performance bottlenecks
- Development complex data migrations and cleanup tasks
- Increase the database script quality - DDL, DML

The skills and experience needed for this position are:

- Expertise know-how in OLTP
- Strong understanding of RAC
- Linux Redhat experience
- Experience as a production DBA or production support for OLTP systems
- Former work experience in application development projects
- Certification: "Oracle Database 11g Performance Tuning Certified Expert" or "Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional"
