Axica Recruitment are in need of a Oracle APEX Developer to work an initial 5 months contract in Dublin. The Oracle APEX Developer will develop custom applications on Oracle Apex 4.2., migrate current applications from 3.1 to 4.2, Configure Oracle Apex 4.2 for SSO through OID.

The Oracle APEX Developer will have strong Oracle technical skills in SQL; PL/SQL and APEX developments (Oracle Applications Express). You will work as part of the applications team that designs, develops, implements & supports Oracle business systems.

Overview:

- Lead the technical analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, implementation, and maintenance of various custom applications.
- Work closely with peers and service groups to ensure on-time execution of all deliverables
- Produce documented application processes & support documentation.
- Train Super Users on application functionality and reporting.
- Develop custom reports as per business requirements
- Project Manage and Report on own workload to agreed plan
- Provide input into the technology plans for effective upgrade of Apex 3.2 applications to new 4.2 instance

Skills required for the Oracle APEX Developer:

- Experience in a technical  Role on Oracle Applications Express (APEX)
- SQL & PL/SQL Development Experience
- Experience working on Oracle Databases.
- In depth knowledge in providing solutions on Oracle Platforms
- SQL & PL/SQL Development Experience
- Oracle AIM Methodology Experience

Desirable

- Oracle E-business Experience
- Project Management Experience
- Training Experience.
