Oracle Analyst Developer

Our high profile and well established client is seeking an Oracle Developer to join their high calibre inhouse development team.

The typical duties of this position include but not limited to:

- Perform functions spanning all phases of a system development life cycle (SDLC)
- Interaction with operations teams and business users on a regular basis
- Produce detailed documentation.
- This will include Functional Requirements and Technical Design documents.
- Document, co-ordinate and conduct Unit, System and Integration Test plans/scripts
- Provide accurate estimates for enhancements to existing applications or development of new solutions.

The successful candidate will also have the following:

- 5+ years experience with oracle RDMS and associated Toolkits
- 5+ years development experience in ORACLE FORMS/REPORTS/PLSQL and Unix Scripting
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent requirement gathering, analytical and debugging skills
- Process oriented and thorough in all the deliverables required throughout the project life cycle
- Strong database design skills
- Strong PL/SQL, Oracle Reports, Oracle Forms, UNIX Scripting skills, Oracle Database Skills
- Process oriented and self disciplined to deliver solutions in a structured manner
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Some Java, XML FIX, MQSeries and Oracle Pro*C experience is desirable
- Experience/knowledge in the Wealth Management industry is desirable but not mandatory
