Title- Contract Opto-Mechanical Engineer

Location- Kent

Length of contract- 3 months rolling

I have an urgent Contract Opto-Mechanical Engineer requirement within a cutting-edge Aerospace Engineering Company.

My client is looking for a Contract Opto-Mechanical Engineer to work within the Opto-mechanical system team and with optical, electronic and system engineers to develop and detail working design for the optical systems.

The suitable candidate will be responsible for the below tasks:
*Design using 3D modelling tools
*Complete manufacturing drawings to enable the designs to be manufactured
*Support Manufacturing activities.
*Develop BOM to allow MRP system to reflect the completed.
*Liaising with suppliers.
*Undertake Structural and thermal Analysis using FEA.

Required skills and experience:
*Materials and manufacturing processes
*FE analysis
*Usage of FEA packages
*Solid works CAD
