Optimus Prime Continuous Deployment Architect

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Optimus Prime Continuous Deployment Architect has responsibility for the design and implementation of Continuous Deployment for One Screen (the Optimus Prime Omni-channel Front End) initially and if successful, expand the findings to encompass the Veris stack (the Optimus Prime Back End systems).

The scope for the Continuous Deployment Architect is:

- The One Screen Front End (Windows based, EpiServer CMS)
- The One Screen Back End (Java based, Tomcat)
- All relevant environments (Prod, Test, Training - between 10 - 15 env's in all)
- Code and data, ie deployment procedure must encompass both code, reference data, configuration data and (test) data

The ideal candidate has a long experience as a Continuous Deployment Architect with several successful implementations on the CV.

The candidate also needs to have excellent collaboration skills, where experience from a multi-cultural setup will be advantageous.

THE MAIN ACTIVITIES of the Continuous Deployment Manager include:

- Understand the current deployment setup
- Overall description
- Current pain points
- Description of vision
- Future setup
- Expected benefits
- Implementation plan
- Establishing Continuous Deployment process in close cooperation with the vendor of the BSS stack, including:
- Description of the overall process including: Process, Deliverables, Check Points, Quality KPI etc.
- Including all relevant parties - from Business to Technical personal covering all vendors included in the value chain
- Communication and information to all parties

REQUIREMENTS:

- Prior software development experience (min. 5 years)
- Prior Continuous Deployment experiences from large and complex systems setup
- Experience with Configuration Management
- Experience with relevant Continuous Deployment toolsets
- Project Management Skills from large development process
- Preferably experience from a complex Telco environment
