OPTIMIZATION MODELING ANALYST (SUPPLY CHAIN) needed for a CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY with Yoh's client located in St. Louis, MO.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Design, create and implement analytic models to support supply chain business processes including planning, production, logistics and customer service.
- Research current process and emerging needs for analytic models, data inputs & outputs, analytic metrics, and user interface needs.
- Identify and document sources and flows of business data used in analytic models. Identify data quality issues, potential data governance approaches and process improvements.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience working with large complex data sets in a predictive/optimization modelling context.
- Skills in optimization modelling environments such as CPLEX/ODME.
- Skills in developing analytic models in tools such as R.
- Skills in manipulating data for analytics using tools such as Excel, Oracle (PL/SQL), Teradata and SQL.
- Familiarity with using analytics to support decisions in Supply Chain such as Demand Forecasting, Production Planning and Scheduling, Distribution Requirements Planning, Sales and Operations Planning, Inventory Management, and Network Optimization.
- BS/BA degree, preferably in statistics, engineering, economics or supply chain.
