1x Optical Technical Support Consultant is needed in Paris for one of our clients, a prestigious international Telecommunications company. Fluent English and French is required and eligibility to work in France. It is on contract basis. Start time is ASAP.
Responsiblities
-
Deployment, integration and commissioning.
-
Follow up meeting, on-site technical assistance and Level 2/3 support.
-
Provide training for customers, subcontractors or service partners.
-
Prepare technical documentation to support the activities above.
-
Technical problem management.

Before sales technical support and validation.
Requirements
-
Engineer or University degree in Optic, Electricity or Telecommunication (ESO, ESE, ENST, DEA or DESS Opto-électronic, etc.)

At least 3 year of experience within Optical Networks.

Fluent French and English speaking

Good experience in technical troubleshooting

Good knowledge of Optical transmission: Optical Networks, covering hardware, software and network knowledge.

Good knowledge of WDM, SDH, OTN technology, espeically WDM.

Basic knowledge of operating systems (Linux, UNIX, NT/2000) and major databases (Oracle, Informix, Sybase, SQL Server)

Basic knowledge of CCS7 protocols, TCP/IP Router and transfer product.

Good knowledge of maintenance level 2/3
