Opsmgr/SCOM Technical Consultant

A System Center Operations Manager (OpsMgr/SCOM 2012 R2) Technical Consultant is required for an initial 1 month contract role, working directly with a Microsoft Gold Partner for our global client just outside of London. You will be will be responsible for implementing OpsMgr and additionally functionality to the scoped project plan.

This is a huge opportunity for the right person where you have the ability to work on this and other projects well into the future. You will develop skills in a niche market with the backup and guidance of some of the best System Center experts in the globe, a team of dedicated and very experienced professionals, including multiple Microsoft MVP's. We must be confident in any of our resources to represent us technically and personally, our reputation is second to none.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

- Expertise in System Center Operation Manager 2012 R2 Installation, Deployment and Tuning
- OpsMgr/SCOM Management Pack (MP) implementation and tuning
- OpsMgr/SCOM basic authoring
- OpsMgr/SCOM ACS installation and tuning
- OpsMgr/SCOM solution tuning
- NetApp OnCommand MP installation and tuning
- SolarWinds and OpsMgr integration
- OpsMgr monitoring other System Center solutions
- Windows Server 2003 or later
- Virtual Servers on VMware
- Experience in enterprise deployment(s) of OpsMgr
- Documentation skills
- Must be a self-starter and be able to think outside the box and work to strict time-scales.
- System Center front-line experience

- Enterprise Systems Management (ESM)
- Latest 'MCSE: Private Cloud' certification
- ITIL Foundation Certification
- Prince2 Foundation certification
- Enterprise IT project experience
- Consultancy experience
- Veeam Management Pack for VMware v6+
- Basic Microsoft Project knowledge
- Microsoft Exchange Server
- Microsoft SQL server
- Oracle Servers
