Ops Engineer Security/Crypto

As OPERATIONS ENGINEER you participate within the DevOps teams of one of the departments of IT Security, IAM and/or Crypto.

PROJECT:

For the IT security domain the client is looking for a Operations Engineer (Beheerder). This role involves you working within the DevOps teams of one of the departments of IT Security, IAM and/or Crypto. DevOps teams are aiming at both developing and managing one or more IT security capabilities. DevOps teams work in line with Agile methodology and also the Scrum method, which is a new approach to designing, building and testing capabilities and the process of implementing, managing and ultimately decommissioning capabilities.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

- Experience within a security environment
- Experience with working according to protocols
- Functional Admin experience
- Experience with making backups
- Public Key Infrastructure knowledge (basic)
- HSM knowledge (basic)
- LDAP, Active Directory knowledge (good)
- Apache/Tomcat knowledge (good)
- Linux/RedHat knowledge (good)
- Java knowledge (basic)
- Automated testing knowledge (good)

COMPETENCES:

- An Agile approach to working (tested against 'model behavior')
- Analyzing problems and forming judgments
- Able to translate technical changes to business changes (what does this mean for the business/client)
