Ops Engineer Omnichannel

OPS ENGINEER OMNICHANNEL

One of my globally leading banking clients is looking for an Ops Engineer with Omnichannel experience to deliver solutions to treasurers of multinationals worldwide.
You are familiar with technologies (such as: Docker, Graphite, Grafana, Gatling, Nolio), furthermore you are an expert in Linux, you prefer Scripting over doing things manually and have a strong affinity with Middleware such as, Tomcat (TCserver), Cassandra, Oracle. You continuously tune the performance of the systems taking cost and the trend of resource usage of the infrastructure into consideration. Furthermore, you enable your team by supporting and enhancing the development environments (such as the build server, Jenkins & Sonar and Artifactory).

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:

o Experience in ITIL processes - Change, Incident, Configuration, Problem management
o Strong knowledge of Linux with the ability to install, configure, analyze, maintain, optimize, troubleshoot, and manage the security of operating systems.
o Experience working with network architecture including VPNs, load balancers, Firewalls.
o Knowledge of HTTP, HTML, JSON and JavaScript.
o Experience with Intellij
o Solid experience in the automation so you can be a sparring partner for our Continuous Delivery teams
o Experience in operating database management systems (such as Oracle, Cassandra)
o Experience in operating Middleware such as Tomcat, JVMs
o Experience in designing and engineering

NICE TO HAVE:

o Minimal a Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or comparable (HBO opleiding)
o Experience in implementing monitoring procedures and systems
o A working attitude to work in a Professional Engineering culture and you like to participate in communities
o An attitude to rather automate than performing manual tasks (such as automation of deployments, tests, builds, packaging and shipping.)
o highly available, reliable, and scalable infrastructures

CONTRACT: 12MONTHS +
