Operations Support

A rapidly expanding financial institution in downtown Chicago is seeking a skilled Service Support Analyst to join their team for an exciting contract opportunity.

This opportunity would give you the experience to work closely with QA team, development and the business as well as give you the opportunity to sharpen your skills working on database development, Perl scripting and even opportunities to learn the trading side of the business.

Requirements for this role:

-MUST HAVE: 2+ years working on Linux/Unix Systems (knowledge of command lines, log files, vi editor)
-Experience working as a Support Analyst in the financial space (understanding of connectivity, order entry, execution and latency...ect)
-Perl Scripting experience (writing those from scratch) would be ideal
-Strong communication and self-starter
-Experience with reporting issues, clearing, FMA testing and implement change requests
