Operations Supply Chain Project Manager Job

OPERATIONS SUPPLY CHAIN PROJECT MANAGER NEEDED for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in SAN MATEO, CA

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

- A./B.S. in Information Technology, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in operations, project management, and/or business analysis
- Knowledge/experience with project management tools (MS Project, Visio, Oracle/SAP ERP)
- Hands-on experience working with Dashboard and Multidimensional tools (eg IBM Cognos, Tableau)
- 5+ years of industry experience
- Database experience including proficiency in SQL and DB design
- Extensive base knowledge of industry

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- What Oversees the entire project life cycle of detailed project plan using standard project methodology including requirements gathering, analysis and reporting.
- Monitors project progress and establish milestones as needed for reporting to appropriate management levels
- Follow up on actions items and drive resolutions as well as facilitate additional meetings to close out key issues
- Document work flows for business functions & global operational process variation analysis
- Provide operational metrics at an aggregate level, with appropriate drill-downs, through reports and dashboards
- Prepare Quarterly Business Reviews that provide visibility into process changes and efficiency measures
- Implement post-mortem analysis and drive continuous improvement on all relevant operational processes
- Work with Business Systems Team to define content management system improvements
- Program manages global operation initiatives to streamline systems and publisher experience

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- Experience developing a range of BI solutions, dash-boarding and ad-hoc reporting
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem solving, organizational and time management skill
- Strong knowledge of project & program management techniques and tools
- Proven track record of executing on projects requiring data driven analytics to deliver strategic recommendations
- Ability to influence at director level and above to drive timelines and tasks
