Our client (a major rail infrastructure provider) has created a Future Train & Operational Control Systems (FT&OCS) team. It is a centre of excellence for the development of future control, command and signalling (CCS) systems. FT&OCS will lead the business and technical development of these systems onto the national network to meet the challenges of control period 4 and beyond.
They require an Operations Specialist to develop and write key operational documents such as the ATO operational concept, operational requirements and operational scenarios. This will involve working with a range of industry experts and leading reviews with the ERTMS users Group within Europe.
