Operations Research Analyst/System of Systems Analyst, must have SC clearance or Nato clearance
The primary purpose of this role is to support the OPS FS Baseline project by providing the provision of analysis for joint and combined operational processes and capabilities, and for the analysis of organizational structures and staff processes.

The individual would be expected to cover a significant subset of the following capabilities and skills:
Skill set:
Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements; Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including ACO and ACT; Experience with enterprise architecture methods and tools; Familiarity with systems thinking; Knowledge of IT service frameworks, eg ITIL; Adaptability for travel and ad-hoc tasking; Experience in customer-funding environments.

Specific desirable skill set required:
i. The analysis of modern military problems in particular in relation to determining requirements and capabilities for war fighting and peace-keeping operations at strategic and operational levels; ii. Analysis of military command and control and organizational issues including organizational structures and staff processes; iii. Development of Information and/or Knowledge Management concepts and/or analysis of information flows within large enterprises; iv. Analysis of risks and threats related to the security environment and the definition of associated scenarios and planning situations; v. Design and/or development of Operations Research assessment tools, staff decision aids, databases, data collection and/or survey tools. vi. Knowledge of Operations Research techniques (in particular structured problem analysis and System of Systems Analysis) and/or Business Process analysis techniques. vii. Proven ability to work successfully with military staff; viii. Proven ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with good briefing skills; ix. Knowledge of personal and work station computers and associated operating systems and modelling tools. x. Knowledge/experience of working in a Military Environment

Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations Research, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related natural or applied science, preferably equivalent to a Master's and supplemented by relevant postgraduate qualifications. Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of particular abilities or experience of interest to the Agency;
