Operations/Release Manager

OPERATIONS/RELEASE MANGER - ITIL V3 EXPERT - BROADCAST - MAM - DAM - STAKEHOLDER

Our well known broadcast media client is seeking a Programme Manger to join their Technology, Distribution & Archive Division to support the creation of the service strategy and service design for the new systems during the project delivery phases. The contract is for an initial 6 months with scope for extension thereafter.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

- Manage the service delivery of the E2E delivered systems, ensuring that the network, applications and supporting infrastructure meet the agreed availability and recovery objectives
- Manage all Operational Level Agreements with system integration partners and other support functions, to ensure the service can be successfully delivered
- Manage, define and help develop all quality criteria associated to the delivery of the service, including alignment to the development standards, information security standards, operational standards and adherence to defined test and release criteria

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE

- ITIL V3 Expert
- Proven experience with Media Asset Management
- Technical expertise with a demonstrable track record of individual technical achievement and successful delivery in customer facing services/environments striving for operational excellence
- Demonstrable experience in leading and managing application and service delivery teams
- Experience designing new services and managing these through into a live operation
- Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
