Bank of America Merrill Lynch is currently seeking to recruit a Relationship/Network Manager to join their Global Wholesale Banking Team to be based in their offices in Bromley.

Overview:

This role will support the design, development and implementation of the Third Party Network Management Process or Cash Services. This function sits within Global Wholesale Banking Operations and acts as a representative fr all business units with regards to the ongoing monitoring of Third Party Partners and support the management of Financial Market Utilities in conjunction with Payment Systems Risk Committee and key stakeholders.

The Network Managers responsibility is to ensure the third parties employed to provide these services continue to be "fit for purpose" and are continually monitored through various department risk assessments, surveys, adherence to service levels and through day to day interaction.

Key skills for a Banking Relationship/Network Manager:

*Third Party Management experience and/or related Operations and understanding of multiple Cash products and clearings with a working understanding of Cash correspondent relationships.
*Understanding of Operational Risk and Risk Framework with knowledge of regulations and the impacts of non-compliance.
*Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
*Good working experience of Microsoft Office.
*Ability to manage multiple and competing priorities and deliver results under pressure.
*Six sigma certified (ideal)

Responsibilities of Banking Relationship/Network Manager:

*Manage external relationships on behalf of the Bank and work within a team that acts as a point of escalation for numerous lines of business and operations.
*Obtain a strong regulatory, compliance and risk understanding in terms of the appointment and management of third parties.
*Identify process gaps against OCC regulations.
*Work virtually to develop a roadmap to close process gaps.
*Execute upon governance structure for responsible portfolio of relationships.
