Operations Regulatory Change

The successful candidate will be required to liaise extensively throughout the firm, this consists of reporting to the respective project/programme steering groups as well as driving and co-ordinating multiple work streams and or working groups.

The main responsibilities of the role include:
Leading the operations projects/programmes for the implementation of significant regulatory change with particular focus on the EMIR and Dodd-Frank derivatives regulations, including the following functions and deliverables:-

* Establish the projects/programmes scope, in conjunction with stakeholders.
* Establishment, coordination and monitoring of work streams and governing project plan tracking documentation
* Ensuring operational compliance with the regulatory changes or optimising post regulatory efficiencies and identifying potential commercial opportunity in relation to:

- Confirmations.
- Collateral management (end to end).
- Data management (Client and Asset).
- Contributing to the development and delivery of the clearing strategy - CCP / clearing brokers
- Basel III/ CRD IV compliance across Operations
- Uncleared Margin - analyse and process definition
- SEF/ OTF strategy & operational readiness
- Trade reporting to the respective repositories.
- Valuations

It is essential that you have the following skills and experience:

* Previous experience of managing Regulatory change.
* Previous experience within Equity and Derivatives product classes.
* Familiarity with EMIR and Dodd-Frank regulations.
* Experience working with internal and external legal counsel.
* Proven experience delivering projects on time and within budget.

It would also be beneficial if you met any of the below criteria too, however this is not essential.

* Formal qualification in Project Management [ PRINCE2, APM, PMI ]
* Sound understanding of Market Data across Asset Classes
* Significant experience within regulatory risk or change environment.
* Strong academics and relevant professional qualifications/accreditations with a strong numerical background.
