Operations Problem Manager - Dublin contract. My client a leading global name is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Operations Problem Manager to join them on a contract basis.

Due to continued expansion in my clients business they are in need of a talented Operations Problem Manager/Troubleshooter to join their EMEA Applications, Development and Maintenance group. You will join an existing team in a leadership role co-ordinating RCA analysis and incident resolution for our their operations based in Dublin, Ireland.

My client requires an experienced technical programme problem manager to reduce production incidents. The objective of the Problem Manager is to provide a straight forward and workable process for handling all types of service inhibiting situations with minimum effort for the customer. The goal is to maximise client satisfaction with IT systems and services.

You will be expected to minimize the impact of problems; Minimize the duration of any related outages; Manage problems within agreed-to time frames; Reduce number of problems and Prevent reoccurrence

Successful candidates will have circa 10 years total experience and come from Software development background - 5 years+ (Mainframe, Java/.NET). Candidates will also have 5 years+ recent Project Manager/Problem Management experience (software development projects, full life cycle) and be familiar with ITIL process and RCA analysis. It is Preferable to have some financial experience, preferably banking experience. You will have experience in application support and troubleshooting and experience of working with business and IT stakeholders
