Operations Manager to Support SOX Management

On behalf of our client in the Life Science industry, Harvey Nash is looking for a Operations Manager to support SOX Management for a 3 month project in Switzerland.

The role is about support of the GIS SOX IT Coordinator in monitoring and tracking the status and progress of the ongoing SOX IT remediation activities.

You are responsible for;
- Planning, directing and co-ordinating the operations of a business, division, department or operating unit
- Planning and maintaining systems and procedures for operating efficiency
- Managing staff for optimum performance
- Ability to assess where technology solutions fit within a business process
- Monitoring and tracking the status and progress of SOX IT remediation activities
- Reporting on a regular basis (eg weekly/monthly) to the NVS SOX IT Coordinator/NVS Audit Lead
- Keeping the SOX IT Remediation Tracker up-to-date
- Supporting the "Remediation Owner" and/or the "NVS Driver"
- Previewing and verifying the agreed deliverables
- Previewing and checking whether the agreed success criteria have been met

Requirements;

- Strong analytical and system design background
- Project management experience and good writing skills for documentation requirements
- Communications (English)
- Structured thinking
- Basic know-how regarding control frameworks (eg SOX IT)
- SharePoint
- Excellent written and spoken English
