Operations Manager | ITIL Implementation | 6 Month Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION

Due to the added workload and increase in the number of systems and applications, my client require the need for an Operations Manager to implement and administer the ITIL framework by setting up framework. The successful candidate may be required to work after hours to oversee software release or handle ITIL Level 2 incident calls.

The successful candidate will be required to assess incidents that cannot be resolved by the level 1 team. The candidate will be required to use their expertise to determine which vendor to escalate to, and then coordinate

SKILLS:

- Minimum of 5 years continuous experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated skills and experience working in application support role, ITIL level 2 or
- higher
- ITIL qualifications. Demonstrated use and implementation of ITIL.
- Demonstrated experience with software testing/development, incident troubleshooting, vendor management, working in a software delivery environment
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience employing root cause analysis techniques
- Exceptional interpersonal and articulate communication skills, with the proven ability to manage project stakeholders, build effective working relationships at all levels, and
- present complex information in an easily understood format
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Establishing and leading teams to investigate issues
- Resourceful, reliable and professional team member with a customer focused attitude.
- Strong organisational skills with a capacity to operate both independently, using initiative and self direction, and as a team member to produce consistently high quality work.

This is an ongoing 6 month contract and will suit someone who is flexible with their working hours.

Role is based in the Sydney CBD.
