OPERATIONS MANAGER - IT INFRASTRUCTURE - ITIL - SERVICE MANAGEMENT - PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Our customer is a leader in the Pharma industry and seek for a Operations Manager
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Represents the Global Infrastructure Services within the customers assigned
- Ensure that he is aware of GIS offerings, and adhere to GIS processes/standards.
- Will be required to have and drive face to face meetings with Business IT
- Proactively engages with the customer to understand all their current application, projects, requirements and ensure that delivered IT infrastructure is aligned to their requirements eg capacity, operational etc
- Supports the Customer service managers, so they are able to do their job by imparting knowledge, removing roadblocks etc
- Will be the escalation point of key/major incidents, taking ownership and pursuing effective resolution.
- Coordinate IT vendors and IT customers during critical incidents
- Ability to assess where technology solutions fit within a business process. Will facilitate technical meetings to discuss projects
- Interaction with GIS Finance and Demand Management team to ensure they set and manage appropriate deadlines for submitting PxQ, Bottoms_up, LO, Budget,
- SUPPORTS GIS QM IN IT RELATED AUDIT ACTIVITIES
- Develop, maintain and promote positive relationships and engagement with Global Vendors, Line Managers and local GIS Teams
- Keep ROM's and KAM's informed of business units challenges and opportunities
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Degree in business/technical area
- Experience in IT infrastructure management, including project management, service management, vendor management, ...
- Capable of working in an international environment with virtual teams
- Capable of managing across a Matrix organization
- ITIL Certification
- Experience on SAP environments
