Operations Manager- Injection Moulding

A leading injection moulding company based in Leicester is now seeking an operations manager to join their team. Being market specialists in their fields and with growth expectations of 25% over the next 3-5years, this is a role for someone who is keen to join a small but growing company.

At Senior Management level full responsibility for all Production departments, Health and Safety, Security and Site Maintenance.

* Reduce then eliminate both late despatches and non-conformances.

* Promote and enforce all Company procedures and rules.

* Motivate staff to maximise their contribution and create a production attitude of being 'customer focused by doing it right'.

* Oversee daily actions/prorities are in hand and achieved.

* Identify staff training needs and source suitable solutions.

* Recommend then implement changes to any production resource necessary to achieve either increased efficiency, cost reduction and/or best practice.

* Match production resources/development to the short, medium and long term Company objectives.

* Review and report back on headline production issues/achievements and contribute to long term Company strategy.

The right individual will come from the Automotive sector/low volume manufacturing background. You will have a proven track record of driving processes and have the ability to manage a team of at least 32 people. Due to the ambitious growth plans they have in place, we are looking for someone who is a forward thinking manager who is keen to have a strategic input.

The package on offer is a basic salary of £40-50k, plus bonus and pension.
