An excellent opportunity for a Operations Manager to join a leading Financial Services client of ours for an initial 3 month contract which run on further.

The role requires a candidate that is proficient at managing budgets, operational risks and financial controls whilst ensuring commercial focus. As such the candidate is required to have an excellent background in Finance and Risk with the ability to analyse and interrogate information and data to understand its impact and act accordingly.

Key accountabilities of the Operations Manager will include:
*Manage and process month and year end financial transactions
*Engage regularly with key stakeholders to gauge requirements and ensure services remain 'fit for purpose'
*Analyse data and report on findings making recommendations for appropriate action and escalating issues to the relevant stakeholders
*Identify challenges to service delivery and potential efficiencies, addressing them appropriately
*Work closely with Risk to ensure compliance with policies
*Provide specialist information, guidance, direction and interpretation of policy to customers on business are/unit related matters, resolving customer queries/concerns
*Ensure appropriate systems are updated with accurate information, and that relevant data and MI is shared with the Practice and other key stakeholders
*Line manage or coach Analyst (if appropriate) within the team, addressing performance issues promptly and appropriately.
