Projektbeschreibung
Our customer is an international sales development organization, specialized in maximizing in-flight revenues and reducing operating expenses. In order to establish the new German operations department the company is looking to fill the new position of Operations Manager.
Your key tasks:
- Responsible for delivering the annual sales and profit targets from the Contract. P&L ownership and development, responsible for all aspects effecting sales and costs of the contract
- Managing the daily retail operation, update and improvements to process, cost and commercials
- Attend meetings with the customer
- Ensure effective communications to base operations
- Inventory management (product and hardware) daily, weekly, monthly reporting and posting to finance system
- Drive best practice operational procedures for all supply partners
- Ensure compliance across all aspects of the operations including Regulatory Bodies, specific Airline operating standards, Health and Safety and Food Hygiene
- Ownership of operations recovery plan
- Ensure all regulatory requirements are maintained and updated in a timely manner.
- Manage interface with central IT and maintain front line IT performance
- Manage supplier performance based on agreed KPI's and SLA's
- Local management of service providers' performance
- Carry out audits of supplier and service providers to maintain and measure audit process for financial, operational, compliance and retail performance.
- Management of improvement plans if required.
- Manage the interface with the airline to ensure accurate and timely data is processed for flight schedules and crew schedules
- Support in the development of bar packing plans
- Operational responsibility for packing plan and new product changes including co coordinating IT process changes where required
- Development of appropriate key performance indicators.
- Reporting of performance against target, internally and externally.
- Development and ownership of performance improvement plans.
Your profile:
- Several years of professional experience in Operations Management
- Detailed knowledge of travel retail industry, with particular understanding of operations
- Business Management- or equivalent degree
- Commercial awareness
- Good relationships across all areas of the business
- Engagement in mobilizing people, organisations and partners in developing goals, executing plans and delivering results
- Gaining others' support for ideas, proposals and solutions, and getting others to take action to advance work objectives.
- Fluent in German and English
