40 hours, Mon-Fri, 9am - 6pm

Aspire Media Group are looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to join our busy and demanding operations department for a period of 6 months commencing September 2012.

We are looking for someone with proven experience of working in a fast paced, deadline driven environment who can handle multiple tasks and respond quickly to changing business priorities.  The role requires the successful candidate to have excellent communication skills to build relationships, use their own initiative, negotiate with suppliers and make business decisions.

The role

·          Responsible for the daily running of the operations department including health and safety

·          Ensuring risk assessments and workstation assessments are completed and actioned accordingly

·          Coordinate, negotiate, and purchase all office and utility supplies

·          Full fleet maintenance

·          Assisting with reception and accounts duties as and when required

The candidate

·          Ability to liaise and negotiate with third party suppliers

·          Excellent communication and relationship building skills

·          Previous experience within an operations capacity is essential

·          Proven experience in negotiation and purchasing is essential

·          Ability to work on own initiative

The role is initially offered on a 6 month maternity contract, with the view to being extended for a further 3-6 months and is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a fast paced global company
