JOB TITLE: Operations Manager

SALARY & BENEFITS: £ 34,907.62 salary pro rata - Benefits include salary enhancements for on-call duties, a contributory pension scheme, excellent training and development opportunities and 25 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays

WORKING HOURS: 37.5hrs per week

THE COMPANY: Our client is a national and highly respected quality care provider, who has acquired an excellent reputation for offering high standards of professional care for their service users. Since starting in 1991 they have successful delivered support to adults with learning disabilities and developed services in many parts of England and Scotland.

THE ROLE: This is an exciting opportunity for experienced Operations Manager to manage an existing Residential and Supported Living services, alongside developing new services as the need arises. We have several services across the whole of Kent that you will be responsible for.

Key Responsibilities to include:- -

To provide accurate and timely information and reports on the performance of services and organisational KPI.
-

To build constructive relationships with commissioners and other key stakeholders, ensuring the requirements of contracts are met.
-

To seek opportunities to grow existing and promote new services and to draft and keep under review service development improvement plans
-

To provide leadership and guidance in the opening of new services
-

To ensure effective resourcing, training and development and performance management of people including regular 121s and performance reviews

THE CANDIDATE: We are looking for an experience manager within the social care sector. It is important that you have experience in managing multi sites. This is a challenging role however it is an opportunity for you to develop a strong team and make a real difference to the people they support.

To be successful, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

-

Experience of developing and managing high quality person centred support services for people with learning disabilities
-

Proven ability to manage committed and dedicated teams
-

Excellent networking skills and proven experience of multi-site service delivery and development
-

Proven ability to develop effective long term working relationships with people supported families, commissioners and care managers.
-

Proven budget management skills

Key Experience/ Characteristics preferred for the role:- -

Proven managerial experience within the social care industry
-

Proven multi-site / services management
-

You must hold a level 5 Qualifications & Credit Framework Diploma (QCF) or equivalent, or be willing to work towards it
-

You must have working knowledge and understanding of: - Health & Safety including risk assessments - CQC & the essential standards, (Care Quality Commission) - Mental Capacity Act - DOLS legislation
-

Excellent IT skills
-

Full UK driving licence and own transport is essential

Desired Criteria:- -

Experience of working with people whose behaviour might challenge services, those on the autistic spectrum and / or people with complex health needs
