Randstad Professionals is looking for an Operations Manager for the management of clinical and commercial contract manufacturing organizations (CMO) for Drug Delivery Devices for their client in Basel.
Job Responsibilities:
The job holder is accountable for the performance of one or more CMO's. He/she will lead and collaborate with cross-functional internal and external teams (quality, supply chain, device development, ) to achieve the performance goals. Depending on the CMO/project, the goals will be the reliable product quality & supply including related life cycle management or meeting development project timelines.
Key focus of this role are devices & drug delivery devices (eg patch pumps, injection devices, auto-injectors, safety devices).
Qualifications:
BA or Master Degree in Life Sciences or Engineering required.
7-10 years of relevant experience in the medical devices/drug delivery devices or related industry required.
Ideally drug delivery device development.experience as well as operational experience in clean molding and assembly of plastic medical devices.
Demonstrated ability to lead and work in cross-functional, cross-enterprise project teams with subject matter experts from quality, manufacturing operations, supply chain, product development, commercial and legal.
Quality orientation with knowledge of GMPs, FDA regulatory guidelines and validation practices.

Languages:
Fluent English
German(preferred as this will ease the interaction with the local sites)
