The new opportunity of an Operations Engineering manager has come available. The candidate will be required to manage 3 maintenance engineers and 4 production engineers. You will be managing both the production engineering and maintenance departments, improve plant processes, manage KPI's, and manage several projects.

Interested? We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running in this role. The right candidate will have strong man management skills within a machine shop environment including Milling, turning, grinding, milling, and welding. Come from a high variety low volume background with typical batches ranging from 1-100, someone from the aerospace/automotive industry will be ideal with a mechanical engineering background. Lean manufacturing experience would be advantageous and experience of working within a maintenance department is essential. Project management experience is essential, someone who can juggle multiple projects on the go along with Microsoft office project skills would be beneficial. These projects will be related to NPI into manufacturing.

The salary on offer is Circa £50,000 + a competitive package and is flexible dependant on the candidate's skills and experience.
