Operations Manager

I have a role which is left with me exclusively and potential first stage interview slots for next week.

Very interesting SME, three sites and this role will be one of the top five/ six Senior Managers within the team.

This role presides over Manufacturing Operations in the largest of the three sites.

The following departments/ managers will report into this post:

* Quality
* Supply Chain/ Procurement
* Design
* Engineering
* Production Managers
* Scheduling

The day to day will consist of managing the above departments as well all taking this company further along the "lean journey". Basic house keeping and OEE Metrics have been implemented and this work needs to be built on.

Essentials / Desirables for the role:

Proven Operations Management experience

Hands on Production Management experience

Essentially: proven time spent implementing lean practices and procedures.

This is a basic Machine Shop and Assembly Operation, experience he would be advantageous but not essential.
