Operations Engineer Urgently Required - Aberdeen - Contract

My clients a large Subsea service company have an urgent requirement for an experienced Operations Engineer to work on an initial 12 month contract basis from their offices in Aberdeen.#

As the Operations Engineer your role will be to plan and manage subsea and/or surface installations, workovers and interventions, in whole or part, as required by the customer. This will involve working with completions alliance teams or with other service companies as dictated by the operator.

Mai Duties of the role will include:
* Manage the planning of rig schedule, load out dates, quality, returns from offshore.
* Manage operational procedures for subsea and/or surface activities related to products and projects.
* Co-ordinate in conjunction with Field Service Supervision the use of service manpower as operationally required and ensures maximum utilization of dedicated service techs and also their use onshore where required.
* Identify the equipment, tooling, and personnel.
* Identify the work scope for the required equipment.
* Ensure FPR's are raised in a timely manner and assist with FPR closure and corrective actions.
* Raise EWR's and liaise with Dedicated Design Engineer to provide work, prioritize work and insure all technical issues are addressed to meet customer offshore campaigns
* Collate and or prepare reports and procedures both technical and operational as required by customer.
* Ensure all equipment and services are in place and checked to ensure no non productive time offshore.
* To ensure that HS&E related procedures are in place for all offshore operations and equipment.

Qualifications / Experience Required:
* At least 6 years experience in a similar role within the Oil and Gas Industry and specifically at least 4 years experience with Subsea equipment.
* Computing skills preferable with auto-cad experience.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
