As Operations Engineer you are responsible to run and change the applications within IT Systems. Besides the regular support activities, you implement change requests based on broad knowledge of ITIL processes. You are an active member of the DevOps team working closely with other disciplines/roles. You are a professional able to combine one or more technical specialties with ability to take over basic activities of other specialists in a team (analysis, development and testing). You have general knowledge of software development and knowledge about the business domain for which you work for.

Requirements

- Knowledge of and experience with Agile, Lean, DevOps and ITIL
- Able to controlled change - in accordance with quality standards and the required non-functional of the applications using standard processes (change-, release management)
- Carry out activities in the area of (test) environment coordination and life cycle management
- Continuous improvement is the basic mind-set, which is strongly focused on automating work in and around the team
- Convinces the team and other stakeholders on the deliverables. Minimum necessities are: assessing risks and distinguishing the main issues from side issues
- Be able to combine one or more technical specialties with the capability of taking over basic activities of other specialists on the team (analysis, development and testing)
- Experience with working in a financial institution is a pre
- Hands on experience with Windows, OS level Scripting, IBM WebSphere Application Server on Windows and SQL
- Knowledge of IBM FileNet
- Knowledge to deploy applications
- Knowledge to solve incidents
- Knowledge of the logging of FileNet, WebSphere and Windows
