My client is looking for an experienced Operations professional to join their team who have an outstanding track record of innovative, successful projects stretching across Europe. They are based in Edinburgh and their specialist team develop innovative products and services for telecoms, with unique and wide-ranging experience in designing, developing and supporting a huge variety of customers.
Looking for someone at intermediate experienced level, say 3-7 years commercial experience level.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
SQL - day to day use, creating ad-hoc reports quickly
Unix / Linux (as a Shell and Perl script developer)
Networking / IP knowledge - ideally some VoIP / SIP understanding
Understanding of Linux Package Management setup (ideally a Linux enthusiast)
(Any competence in Java development for web server based application would be useful.)
