Operations Associate (Waiting Spark-Internal Only)

The Operations Associate is responsible for processing our clients' investments requests through our trust accounting operating system. The Operations Associate researches and resolves problems on accounts and follows through to ensure client satisfaction. He or she monitors all client transactions related to purchases and ensures that they are accurately processed within service level. The operations department is a fast paced environment driven by transactional volume and predetermined service levels.

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/FUNCTIONS:

Data entry related to client investment information

Creating payable records for investment purchases

Use appropriate details and tools to correct information or deficiencies

Ensure timely processing of investment requests

Accurately assess fees for transactions

Process investment instructions

Adhere to daily processing and transaction deadlines

Assist other members of the department

May perform other related duties as required

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:

High School Diploma required

Associate's Degree preferred

1-3 years of experience in the investment industry a plus

Working knowledge of 401Ks, investments, and finance, preferred but not required

Detail oriented and able to handle multiple priorities

Effective written and verbal communication

Strong computer skills- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Excellent analytical skills and problem solving capabilities

Strong organization skills
