Yoh has a long term contract opportunity for an OPERATIONS AND FACILITIES PROJECT MANAGER to join our client, a world leader in the pharmaceutical industry, located in LEXINGTON, MA.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Coordinate internal cross-functional teams facilitate projects with diverse scope.
- With the project team leader, define project objectives/or life cycle plans and to ensure sound decision-making principles are applied to develop team agreement.
- Facilitate the execution of integrated project plan consistent with guidance documents.
- Apply project management process initiation, planning, execution, monitoring/control, and closure and PMBOK theories to facilitate the execution of projects according to strict deadlines and within budget in a team setting.
- Able to identify and manage priorities/task assignments under general direction across multiple complex projects.
- Ensure methods, tools and techniques are utilized.
- Team Management: Work with team leader to set agendas, plan activities and facilitate decision making.
- Coordinate all team and meeting logistics including scheduling the meetings, sending out the agendas, writing and distributing minutes, tracking goals and action items, collecting meeting materials from line functions and distributing them to the team before the meeting.
- Facilitate timely productive team discussions.
- Apply all standardized project tools to manage and document team progress as well as to communicate effectively to stakeholders.
- Establish team goals and objectives with the team and their respective functions.
- Update progress against set milestones.
- Establish and keep current development strategies, integrated plan, WBS, and risk management plans.
- Coordinate all necessary material/information needed for team success.
- Facilitate scenario analysis to support timely decision making to ensure execution per plans.
- Discuss critical issues with team leader to devise appropriate escalation plan.
- Ensure effective coordination of activities and/or deliverables across all functions.
- Continuous Improvement, Identify solutions for project management improvement opportunities across the teams.
- Familiar with PMBOK to create and manage work plans/timelines to accommodate multiple projects while balancing priorities.
- Able to apply project management tools, processes and principles to enable project success, including facilitation of decision making and development of recommendations regarding best options.
- Manages team with the team leader to prioritize activities based on the context of overall business objectives and constraints.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of five (5) years of Project Management experience in industrial operations. Biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred.
- Bachelors degree in: Life Science, Business, Industrial Engineering or equivalent required. MBA degree and/or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to successfully manage assigned project goals within scope, on budge and on schedule.
- Quality and compliance oriented.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills working with stakeholders and senior management regarding progress, issues and plans for resolution.
- Teamwork, negotiation, facilitation, and change management skills.
