Operations Analyst

OPERATIONS ANALYST - CENTRAL LONDON

Our Client based in the City are currently recruiting for an Operations Analyst to help support their growing operations functions. The primary function of the Operations Analyst will be to support the trade repository service and as a secondary function to help with the day to day running of operations including clearing, settlements and payments monitoring.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Become SME on trade repository operational model
- Maintain the operations procedures for the trade repository service
- Produce regular MI around trade repository
- Capture and clear matched trades
- Account reconciliation
- Manage cash and physical delivery of process
- Treasury operations
- Responding to client queries and resolving issues

The ideal candidate will have two years of experience working in an operational capacity, experience in exchange and clearing processed and some knowledge of UAT/change.

KEY SKILLS:

- Knowledge of front to back clearing processes
- Awareness of regulatory environment and implications for clearing houses
- MS Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of financial markets
- Ability to perform UAT and functional testing
- Conceptual knowledge of clearing house operations
