Operations Analyst

Help to develop the operations methodology of the future. The primary objective is to partner and collaborate with a cross functional team to accurately capture operations requirements, enable business processes, and utilize data to streamline and improve the execution of projects.

The Operations Analyst is part of a small team of managers that implement process efficiencies to improve the workflows to fulfil Internet products for advertisers. This role documents operational requirements and process flows and works with other members of the team to explore technical options to solve the business need. This requires the understanding of not only our operational fulfillment processes, but also the product development and sales processes.

Our goal is to develop a seamless user experience leveraging seamless processes that flow into seamless systems. There are many opportunities across channels to improve the fulfillment life cycle, from fixing system problems quicker to automating manual tasks. This position will help identify and put plans together to address these opportunities.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Interface with team members from all functional disciplines as well as senior management in order to document business requirements for all new product development and system enhancements.
- Ensure that we create and maintain process maps via Visio for all order flows to optimize Internet product fulfillment functions.
- Work with cross functional team member to make sure projects are prioritized and handled in a timely manner.
- Assist with the Fulfillment Improvement Initiative looking at process/system transparency options to increase order flow-through and/or reduce the time required from entering the order to final fulfillment.
- Optimize our Digital Operations - Delivery reports to better present the information depending upon the audience.
- Work with analysts in other internal departments to understand the impact of new products and services in order to document new processes and procedures.
- Work with our IT partners to ensure problems are resolved as quickly as possible.
- Low/Occasional business travel.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Business Analyst, Program Manager, or Project Management role. MBA preferred.
- Must be Proficient in advanced Visio
- Excellent writing skills are required. Preferred experience with technical writing
- Project Management - knows the project management life cycle
- Business Analyst skills - analysing of data
- Requires strong language and communication skills.
- Excellent interviewing skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and impeccable business judgment; professional distinction in thought, leadership and innovation.
- Solid interpersonal skills; ability to be personable yet persistent.
- Familiarity with IT process and project life cycles.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering presentations, business and operational process analysis, reporting and project coordination.
- Ability to interface effectively with team members from all functional disciplines as well as senior management.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, ability to juggle multiple projects across different departments.
- Ability to exercise judgment, diplomacy and cooperative demeanor while adhering to process and schedule constraints.
- Prefer experience with SalesForce.com.
- Proficient with business software and tools related to the discipline (MS Office Suite, MS Project).
- Preferred experience with local online advertising.
- Preferred experience with Lean process improvement methodologies.
- Systems knowledge desired
