My Client an Investment Bank based in BRUSSELS, requires OPERATIONAL SYSTEM AND PROCESS SUPPORT TO SYSTEM INTEGRATION & DATAFLOW'
WITHIN COST MANAGEMENT.
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION:
Assist the System Integration & Dataflow' department with:
the rigorous parameterisation of the operation financial systems. The maintenance of the referential databases is a key factor to success in the operational systems flows. You will have to follow-up in a detailed way changes to a.o. the organisation structure of the bank, the roll-up of the accounts into clusters, the mapping of costcentres into segments, etc. the follow-up of the system in- & output in the remainder of the process chain of the financial systems. Multiple systems within Finance are linked as to consolidate actuals, budgets, forecast, KPI's etc. You will assure that Cost Management systems capture the correct data (sourcing, input) and you will follow-up the remainder of the chain as to assure end results flow smoothly in the outbound systems.
You will assure first level of control. Whereas the above responsibilities are focused on the correct loading and processing of the data, this responsibility is focused on the assessment whether data is correct, gives a fair view of the reality, is representative etc. This first level of control covers both the input as the output of the systems.
EDUCATION

EXPERIENCE:
5 years of experience in financial performance management environment (Financial Audit, Performance Management, Consulting, M&A,..)
TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
+ Experience in dataflow and/or reporting via databases is a must
+ Advanced skills (master) in Excel, Access and VBA
+ Analytical skills
MANDATORY:
Ability to deal with confidential information and be compliant to strict governance rules
PREFERABLE:
Banking knowledge
LANGUAGE:
French - Fluent speaking and understanding, good writing.
Dutch - Good speaking and understanding, basic writing.
English - Fluent speaking, writing and understanding.
