Operational Support and Release Manager

OPERATIONAL SUPPORT AND RELEASE MANAGER - GLASGOW - £40-48k

My Client has a new requirement within the IT team for an Operational Support and Release Manager.

This position has been created to support the continued growth within the IT team required to deliver against business expansion and change programme plans that are underway. Alongside 3 other managers, the role will form part of the Europe IT management team, reporting directly to the IT Director.

You will be responsible for management of the operational support team and the software change release governance process for all business applications. Responsible for ensuring there is minimal unpredicted impact on the production services, operations and support organisation.

This role is to help establish a Release and Deployment Management function across all development platforms and toolsets utilising available change management tools.

The role will be based around the ITIL framework and best practice guidelines.

My client is specifically looking for a seasoned IT professional, who is a self starter and has skills and experience to successfully build, lead and motivate a new team.
