OPERATIONAL SUPPORT - DIEGEM, BELGIUM - €22 - €26 PER HOUR - 11 MONTHS

The operational support is responsible to make sure that an efficient and accurate process of Returns/
Spare Parts Management is followed as per BSW guidelines, and records are updated on the database.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/
regulations and Corporate J&J, procedures and guidelines, the responsibilities of this position are:

*Ensure warehouse is properly maintained (easy access to spare parts, easy identification, safety of equipment and persons)

* Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness of the warehouse space

* Ensure department rules and regulations from a compliance perspective are followed at all time in the warehouse

* Ensure all spare parts requests are answered in a timely manner

* Track all part shipments (verify, receiving, and sending)

* Follow up on parts returned from field

* Follow up on all refurbish-able parts to ensure timely receipt of the same - Loaner Unit Handling:

* Log all requests

* Track unit shipment

* Test loaner after return to ensure functionality

* Record all Back Office service reports

* Log all receiving calls and follow servicing calls and their parts, labor and expenses associated with the call.

* Responsible for ensuring to follow all company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition.

* Responsible for ensuring personal and company compliance with all the Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

* Able to lift 80 lbs. to a height of four feet

* Excessive standing, bending and stooping

* Advises and assists in affecting changes to improve efficiency and/or reduce cost of operation.

* Communicate with supervisor regarding inventory usage and product returns issues.

NON TECHNICAL SKILLS AND ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Basic computer knowledge to include: Word, Excel and Access

* Experience in logistic and/or warehouse environment

* Some experience in working in a technical related environment

* Language: English, French/Dutch verbal and written communication skills

*Ability to work weekends and "off hours" as needed to support customer and business needs

* Must be detailed in all aspect of inventory control

* Respect and apply safety rules and procedures at all times

* Use personal protective equipment and safety devices as required

* Promote industrial hygiene and safety matters

* Report incidents and damages to management whether injuries are involved or not

* Participate in incident investigation

* Ensure a high standard of housekeeping in the work area

* Be a safety role-model to all employees

* Make suggestions to improve safety at the workplace

* Actively participate in department safety committee
