This operational SQL Server DBA will be working within a global team based In Boston,Sydney,LondonandHong Kong. They will be responsible for the build, maintenance, support of around 2900 SQL Server databases spread across SQL Server 2005 (5%) SQL Server 2008R2 (90%) and the latest version SQL Server 2012 (5%) This SQL Server DBA will be responsible for all enhancements, updates, performance tuning, replication, mirroring as well as production support. This team unlike many operational DBA teams get involved in Proof of concept work therefore this SQL Server DBA will get the opportunity to work with some of the latest technology including testing a number of new features of SQL Server 2012, including 10TB's of Solid state disks which they are currently testing.
