My client, a leading Investment Bank, are looking for a Operational Risk Reporting & Analytics Specialist to be based in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing a number of key reports and conducting analytics for internal and external stakeholders. They will be required to produce and develop Operational Risk reports, conduct routine and customized analytics, utilizing Operational Risk domain knowledge to identify themes/trends/management actions/recommendations. They will also be required to monitor Operational Risk data quality and challenge any issues for resolution, as well as acting as a central contact for queries on Operational Risk from Internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Experience

- Previous experience in operational risk within financial services, with a strong understanding of operational risk management fundamentals
- A team player with strong cross-group collaboration and relationship management skills
- Proven critical, and problem solving skills, able to undertake and coordinate quantitative and qualitative analytics with a focus on attention to detail
- A keen analytical thinker that is able to apply knowledge to a given set of circumstances in order to present a clear and detailed explanation of a situation, outcome, theme or trend along with recommendations
- Able to proactively identify remediation options, with consideration to the benefits case
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise according to business need, work well under pressure with commitment to deliver with accuracy under tight deadlines on a consistent basis
- Proven ability to communicate effectively in a logical and structured manner (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently and manage own deliverables
- Educated to degree level, preferably in a relevant subject eg Finance, Risk, Mathematics
