We currently have an exciting new opportunity for an operational risk manager to work for a retail bank in Scotland. This is a new position that has become available to work predominately within the1st Line of support. This is an extremely interesting position that will allow an operational risk manager to really get involved with the risk frameworks.

OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES:

- As an SME provides education and guidance on Operational Risk matters.
- Identifies areas for continuous improvement of processes and frameworks with the tenacity to follow them through
- Analyses and evaluates a range of information to produce insightful analysis, recommendations and advice to influence decisions and inspire change
- Excellent stakeholder management are required to builds and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders.
- Build and implementation of risk reporting suites
- Development of training and education for new colleagues, risk champions and review of Consortia training

OPERATIONAL RISK MANAGER: SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- Deep knowledge and experience of Operational Risk
- Experience of a Retail Banking environment
- Proven analytical skills and judgement and reasoning ability
- Ability to quickly grasp subject matter which can be complex and demanding to understand
- Excellent organisation skills with ability to manage own workload and work effectively under pressure
