Our client, a Top Investment Bank, is currently searching for an experienced Operational Risk Consultant to Join the Ops risk team. This role could be taken as Permenant or on 6 month rolling Contract.

The role has come about as a result of sustained growth within the organisation.

Responsibilities:

- Assist with independent assessment and monitoring of Operational Risk profile, through
- Preparation of weekly and monthly reporting to governance forums
- Incident management and post incident reviews;
- Weekly review of KRIs and KCIs;
- Tracking progress of remedial actions;
- Monitoring of key controls;
- Quarterly root cause analysis;
- Assist with deep-dives.
- Contribute in developing, implementing and monitoring a risk based program to identify, asses and mitigate any operational risk that arises within EMEA region.
- Working with corporate risk management tools to ensure an accurate representation of the risk profile of EMEA is being reported.

Skills/Experience Required:

- Experience within Banking and Finance industry including a significant amount of experience in Operational Risk.
- Strong knowledge of operations, including Middle Office, Back Office and settlement functions
- Exposure to the performance of Operational Risk identification/assessments (RSCA and Basel III) and the identification of setting of risk indicators.
- Relevant business/accounting degree or equivalent. Operational Risk qualification a plus.
