Operational Project Governance Consultant (m/f)

MY DUTIES:

-Own and ensure operational alignment of Information Solutions projects
-Identify relevant projects and, in alignment with the Project Managers, ensure for these projects that they plan and perform their activities in line with the operational processes in due time and high quality to achieve stable operations
-Manage the operational transition of these projects towards a smooth handover, capture open topics and drive them with the projects to closure
-Manage the Infrastructure Demand project from a financial, organizational and delivery perspective
-Assess and understand projects and their work packages regarding implications/impacts towards operations
-Liaise with Project Managers to have the projects adhering to and feeding operational processes like Change Management, Knowledge Management etc.
-Steer and support the Operational Transition for these projects as per the defined procedures; ensure that projects develop and activate support models and help implement these support models
-Review existing Support Models, identify weaknesses, define correction actions and implement them; improve Support Models
-Manage the Supplier to perform steps in establishing Operational Readiness; track and manage performance through KPIs and SLAs which need to incorporate elements like percentage of successful transitions, number of incidents received post Go Live, number of remaining issues after Go Live vs Project End etc.

MY QUALIFICATIONS:

-Deep understanding of Operations Frameworks, such as ITIL, understanding of infrastructure and applications technologies and their lifecycle
-Sound experience with IS/IT
-Deep understanding of the interaction of counterparts, roles and responsibilities
-Experience in a large IS/IT estate
-Strong understanding of Operations, Infrastructure, Applications and Business Services and their interdependencies
