OPERATIONAL MANAGER FOR FRONT ARENA ORDER MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
On behalf of one of our clients in Zurich, we are looking for candidates with a keen interest both in the financial markets and software for trading and risk management. It is a contract opportunity.
IDEAL PROFILE:
You should have a Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences or a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the financial sector, software industry, or in a financial software technical support environment.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing Support and maintenance of existing functionality and ensuring a smooth operation of IT applications.
- Analyzing issues in collaboration with Front Office
- Being responsible for the stability of the electronic trading and the connectivity to the markets
- Working directly with the buy side hedge fund customers in the delivery of new software and in upgrading current implementations
KEY SKILLS:
- An overview knowledge of FRONT ARENA
- Working understanding of Capital Markets instruments
- Programming-knowledge: Python, SQL
- IT-knowledge: MS SQL Server, MS Windows Server
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Stress tolerance, service-mindedness and teamwork orientation
- Fluent German and English
