Operational Excellence Manager

Harvey Nash is looking for an Operational Excellence Manager for a 3 + month project in Switzerland.

The position is a mix of three roles: Operational Excellence Specialist; Intranet Designer and Project Management Support. The client is looking now both for an Intranet publication skilled project manager and an experienced Lean six sigma professional with strong tool knowledge. To complete the profile, the ideal candidate has experience in scientific environment, preferred scientific background.

You are responsible for

* the setup of a portal and structure on Intranet for Lean six sigma tools

* Presenting examples from Research Life Science business

* Enabling project managers to use those tools in their projects

* Interacting with scientific driven stakeholders

Requirements

* +5 years of Lean six sigma experience preferably in a global, matrixed, scientific, diverse environment (we are not looking for a developer, but former experience in Web development is a nice-to-have)

* +5 years of experience in IT-related projects (former experience in the area of "operational excellence")

* Fluent in English speaking; German and/or French speaking is a nice

* Used to work in a scientific environment, preferred scientific background with applied Informatics skills. Nice is a scientific background/environment in the last projects.

* Sound knowledge of standard project and OE tools and methods (Lean six sigma is a must)
