Operational Engineer/Developer Payments

JOB DESCRIPTION:

This is an exclusive opportunity to work for one of our financial services clients in Zurich. We are looking for a candidate who has good technical knowledge but equally important is a good understanding about banking, especially in the payments sector. The team is small, but highly motivated and international.

THE ROLE:

- Improve scalability
- Take over some architecture parts in the project
- Developing with Java, mainly on Middleware and Back End
- Support internal infrastructure team with 3rd level support if needed

THE SKILLS YOU WILL BRING:

- Experience with Java 6/7 or 8.
- Experience with Tomcat and or MQ
- Minimum 3 years of experience within the payment sector
- Experience in the finance/banking industry
- Understanding of ISO 2022/EBICS
- Fluent in English
- German is an advantage

The role is English speaking - German is nice to have but not mandatory. Based in Zürich, the contract will be until the end of the year, with the potential to be extended.
